Side Effects of Alli Diet Pill

Main side effect of Alli diet pills is related to gastrointestinal. To start the therapy, this side effect may become severe. After some time the side effects will gradually minimizes. In clinical trials conducted so far, it was revealed that nearly half of the side effects lasted for about a week’s time. But, in other cases it lasted for about six months. The major effect of orlistat is that it prevents the dietary fat from getting absorbed in the system. As a result, the dietary fat not absorbed, gets excreted unchanged in the feces. The stool may become little oily and also loose, which is termed as stretorrhea. It is also found that there will be abnormal increase in flatulence. It is also observed that there will be urgency and increase in the movement of bowels. In clinical trials, it has also been seen that in rare occurrences, there are cases of fecal incontinences.

Therefore, one should avoid high fat content food. The manufacturer of the drug advice the consumer to take food containing low fat and low calorie rigidly. It is established that by reducing the dietary fat content, one can control oily stool and flatulence to an extent of about 15 grams per meal. Alli diet pill inhibits the absorption of fat soluble vitamins and other nutrients of fat soluble. It is recommended that adequate compensation to the losses must be made by the intake of multivitamin tablets containing vitamins A, D, E, K along with beta carotene once a day,  before or after 2 hours of taking the drug.

There were some adverse claims made that orlistat increases the risk of breast cancer amongst the clinical test participants. But, there were counter claims by the concerned authorities that with the introduction of specific different preparations containing orlistat and concurrent administration of the monoclonal antibody Trastuzumab, can induce tumor cell death and their growth is blocked so in reality achieving the extra benefit of controlling cancer
